Regal Hospitality is seeking a dynamic sales manager to drive sales for their Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inn in Colorado Springs.
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in their assigned market. Sales Managers listen, analyze and create custom tailored proposals to meet guest needs including, but not limited to, negotiate and close sales while meeting and/or exceeding sales goals. Sales Managers maximize room revenue by managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved and/or exceeded.
Essential Job Functions:
Operational & Financial Management
- Pursue revenue goals, implement yield strategies, and manage the annual budget.
- Drive revenue through proactive sales and marketing plan execution.
Sales Activities:
- Conduct sales calls, cold calls, and site inspections to prospect and secure accounts.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals; track sales and deposits.
- Maximize revenue by promoting all hotel facets to clients and analyzing market trends.
Client & Account Management:
- Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts and new clients.
- Monitor account production, competitive trends, and forecast sales performance.
- Manage account details, confirmations, and follow-ups to ensure seamless servicing.
Promotion & Distribution:
- Represent the company at trade shows and conventions.
- Optimize online and third-party distribution channels for visibility and bookings.
- Identify and target top travel agents and corporate accounts.
Market Knowledge & Coordination:
- Stay updated on competition and industry trends.
- Collaborate with departments to deliver high-quality service for booked accounts.
Managing the Guest Experience:
- Ensure guest safety and security by following hotel security policies, including key control and hazard reporting.
- Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and excellent service for all guests.
- Address and resolve guest concerns proactively and effectively.
- Uphold company and brand standards, enhancing property reputation.
- Build community relations through partnerships with local organizations, schools, and government entities.
- Communicate with guests/groups pre- and post-stay, meet onsite contacts, and provide facility tours.
